The newest Seed Mini model is Doubao-Seed-2.0-Mini, released on February 14, 2026. Until Doubao-Seed-1.6-flash (June 2025), ByteDance called this tier “flash”. It has been 239 days since then. The line has only 1 gap between releases so far (248 days), too few to know its usual rhythm.
How long it has been since the last release against the line's usual gap and its recent ones — the rhythm, not a date.
